On 2nd March there will be a local by-election right next door to the Federation, in Kersal. Although this ward is within the Salford City Council (and is under our neighbouring Salford Association), the Ward itself falls within the Parliamentary constituency of Blackley and Broughton, and during General Elections the Federation oversees the campaign in the entire constituency. It is quite fitting therefore that we actively support the Party's candidate in the Kersal by-election, Arnold Saunders. For many years Arnold has been very active within the local community, and has in the past two years been helping us raise the Federation's profile across all of Blackley.
